Imagine Cooking Without the Cooktop

Cook straight through your countertop—no burners, no clutter.

Invisacook is now available at Italian Marble & Granite. Imagine your kitchen island. Smooth porcelain, uninterrupted lines, no bulky burners or raised grates. Just a clean, wide-open surface—until it’s time to cook.

That’s Invisacook: A space that works like the future, without looking like the past. This isn’t just about hiding a cooktop—it’s about reclaiming the countertop. It’s about giving you back the freedom to create a kitchen that feels open, elegant, and made for more than just cooking.

Ready to cook smarter without sacrificing design? Speak with us at IMG today.

What Is Invisacook?

Invisacook is a hidden induction system that lets you cook directly on your porcelain countertop—no cooktop, no burner, no compromise.

It’s installed underneath the counter using proprietary induction technology. That means it heats the pan, not the surface, so the countertop stays safe to touch even while you’re cooking. Once you’re done, just wipe it down and go back to using the surface like normal. No extra steps, no heat marks, no cleanup headaches.

It’s also designed to work with specific porcelain thicknesses (12mm–20mm), which our team will guide you through in the showroom. We’ll help you choose a compatible slab that fits both your style and the tech, so everything works as beautifully as it looks.

Now, instead of designing your kitchen around your cooking appliances, you finally get to design around how you actually live. More space when you’re prepping. More freedom when you’re hosting. More room for everyday life, not just meal times.

Why Choose Invisacook?

Invisacook gives you the power of induction cooking, but without the clutter, without the extra hardware, and without the need to plan your whole kitchen around one appliance.
  • 1

    A seamless kitchen design.

No visible burner, no black glass square breaking up your countertop—just a clean, uninterrupted surface.

  • 2

    More usable space.

Need to cook? Done. Need that same spot for chopping vegetables or setting out a cheese board? Still done.

  • 3

    Safe to the touch.

No open flames. No hot burners left behind. Invisacook only heats your cookware—nothing else.

  • 4

    Easier to clean.

There’s no cooktop to wipe around. When dinner’s done, the counter is already clean.

  • 5

    Installed with IMG precision.

This isn’t a bolt-on accessory—it’s built into your stone, and we treat every detail like it matters.

  • 6

A perfect match with our custom porcelain work.

We’ll guide you to the right material, mill it in-house, and handle the entire process from start to finish.

This is about building a kitchen that works the way you do—fluid, flexible, and free of compromise.

Frequently Asked Questions

What cookware works with Invisacook?

I would say we encourage using their induction cookware.

Is Invisacook safe for homes with kids?

Yes. Since it only heats the cookware—and not the counter surface—it stays cool to the touch. That means no exposed burners and no residual heat left behind after cooking.

Can Invisacook be added to an existing countertop?

In most cases, no. Invisacook needs to be integrated during fabrication, which means it’s best suited for new countertop installs using compatible porcelain slabs. We’ll help you plan it from the start.

How do I maintain a porcelain countertop with Invisacook installed?

Just like any other porcelain surface. It’s non-porous, scratch-resistant, and easy to clean. Invisacook doesn’t require any special maintenance, and your surface will still function as a full countertop when not in use.

Fantastic experience working with the team at Italian Marble and Granite. In fact, they did such a wonderful job helping us update our kitchen and fireplace in our 1920s Buffalo home that we used IMG again to remodel our family cottage in the Finger Lakes, for the entire house this time- kitchen, pantry, laundry, bathrooms and basement kitchenette.Everyone on the IMG staff knows their stuff and is so attentive to detail.I could not be happier with my experience with Italian Marble and Granite, from my first meeting with Virginia to select stone, to meeting with Chris to go over details for fabrication, to the terrific team handling a difficult installation, led by the owner, Mark. Highly recommend this locally owned, family-run company. You will love the beautiful results.... Lori Moore, Buffalo, NY

The staff, designers and service from Italian Marble & Granite was excellent. Friendly, helpful staff helped us choose the right granite for our project. They were willing to search their resources for additional materials when they thought they didn't have enough of the product we wanted, in stock. The design staff created just the right cuts in the pieces to create a beautiful patterned look in our kitchen. Couldn't be happier with our finished product.
